About the Role:
As Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control across the home. You'll help create a calm and comforting atmosphere where residents feel respected, cared for, and at home.
Your responsibilities will include:
Daily cleaning of residents' rooms, communal areas, and facilities
Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC and NHS guidelines
Supporting residents with dignity and discretion, respecting their personal space
Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure a holistic, person-centred environment
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in housekeeping within a nursing or residential care setting
Knowledgeable about infection control and COSHH regulations
Compassionate, reliable, and takes pride in their work
Comfortable working in a mental health care environment
A team player who understands the importance of a clean, safe, and homely setting for recovery and dignity
