Squirrel Hotels is a family-owned company including three hotels, two in the North of England and one in the Forest of Dean.

The Morritt Hotel and Garage Spa are looking for Housekeeping Assistants to join our team.

For many years the Morritt Hotel has been a favourite stopping place for travellers. We offer all the comfort you would expect from a country house hotel and lots of added extras such as our award winning spa and Rosette Restaurant. We also pride ourselves on being one of the best loved romantic wedding venues in North East England.

Working either part time or full time, the Housekeeping Assistant reports directly to our Housekeeping Supervisor and liases with the Reception Team. The position will include some weekend work depending on demand. Previous Hotel cleaning experience is preferred however, full training will be provided.

In this role you will need a passion for getting it right. Speed and attention to detail is key to success in this fabulous venue, ensuring all areas are perfect for the next guests.

You will need to be flexible as shifts will include weekends.

This role is a zero hour contract, however we would expect the successful candidates to work an average of 20-40 hours per week, holiday and sickness cover

Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
