A Hotel Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities



Room Cleaning

: Clean and arrange guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and disinfecting bathrooms.

Restocking Supplies

: Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens, ensuring that all guest supplies are adequately stocked.

Public Area Maintenance

: Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including corridors, stairwells, and lobbies, to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.

Guest Interaction

: Respond to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.

Safety and Maintenance Reporting

: Inspect rooms for safety hazards and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the housekeeping supervisor.

Lost and Found Management

: Handle and report lost and found items according to hotel policies, ensuring items are returned to their rightful owners.

Equipment Handling

: Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and materials, adhering to the hotel's safety and security policies.

Qualifications and Skills



Education

: A high school diploma or equivalent

Experience

: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is beneficial

Physical Stamina

: The role requires physical fitness, as it involves standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Attention to Detail

: Strong attention to detail is essential to meet cleanliness standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

Communication Skills

: Ability to communicate effectively in English and interact positively with guests and team members
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Work Location: In person
