Job Description
The Shoregate, Crail, opened in the spring of 2022, has brought a new lease of life to a listed restaurant and bar with four large letting bedrooms, in the heart of this beautiful fishing village.
We want to build something Crail can be proud of and create a business that provides great food and hospitality, and great employment opportunities, to the community all year round.
With a busy summer season ahead, we are now looking for a part-time housekeeper to join our team
We aim to offer flexible terms and competitive salaries for staff. We will offer training for the roles, and fund qualifications for those interested in taking their careers further.
We are also particularly interested to hear from local people who would like to get back into work, even if it's for just one or two shifts a week.
A successful hotel is only as good as the housekeeping team. Whatever your level of experience, if you think you can make our guests feel welcome and that nothing is too much bother, we'd love to meet you.
Each role will require applicants to:
Ensure customers are continuously delighted with the service and offering at The Shoregate. To prepare our accommodation rooms for guests arrival ensure immaculate standards of cleanliness and presentation To maintain standards and cleanliness across our beautiful public areas. To provide excellent guest service at all times.
In return we will offer:
12.25 per hour plus tips
(between 1 and 1.50 per hour extra on average)Whatever your level of experience, get in contact with your CV and covering letter today.
PLEASE NOTE: This role will be usually for 3 to 5 hours per shift. You will need to live within 20-30 minutes car drive to Crail or on the 95 bus route.
