We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced room attendant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure all areas are tidy and presentable.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Assist with laundry services as needed.
Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
This is a part time role and we are able to offer some level of flexibility around start and finish time (usually around 8am, 9am or 10am until 1pm, 2pm or 3pm), days of the week and number of hours required
