Main Purpose of the Role:




The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist Deputy Housekeeping Managers and the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping team in order to deliver the service level agreements for the timeshare accommodation, hotels and public areas to meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:




In addition to this management oversight and coordination, the Deputy Housekeeping Manager will be required to:

Supervise and coordinate cleaning schedules and allocate tasks to the Housekeeping Team. Monitor and inspect accommodation and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met. Provide on-the-job training and support for housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and quality expectations. Promote a positive team culture focused on respect, learning and high performance. Lead-by-example, motivating team members to deliver excellent guest experiences. Assist in resolving minor employee relations issues and escalate more complex matters to management or HR. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly checklists are completed. Log defects or faults with the maintenance team and ensure follow up action has been taken. Assist in managing stock levels of cleaning supplies, guest amenities and linen. Support the coordination of laundry and linen services. Deputise in Deputy Managers absence. Respond to guest queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction Uphold health & safety standards and ensure team compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

Key skills and attributes:



Proven experience in a similar position. Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to adapt to changing environments. Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style. Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for guest experience and the hospitality industry. Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations. Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy. Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills Experience of using IT Systems. An open, positive, and communicative personality.
