Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our establishment, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service within the hotel industry.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices and procedures. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company policies. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction with housekeeping services. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel. Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and any incidents that may occur during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in housekeeping operations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to achieve high standards of performance. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
