About the role



As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility. You will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeepers, overseeing daily operations, and supporting the smooth running of the housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and support a team of housekeepers to maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards. Assist in the training and development of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed. Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen; place orders as required to ensure adequate inventory. Report directly to the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager, providing updates on team performance, stock levels, and any maintenance issues. Participate in room cleaning duties including: Making beds and preparing rooms for new arrivals Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms to a high standard Deep cleaning of rooms and public areas on a regular schedule Ensure all public areas (e.g., hallways, lounges, lobbies, restrooms) are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times. Respond promptly to guest requests or housekeeping-related issues, ensuring guest satisfaction. Help coordinate rotas and work schedules to meet operational needs.

Requirements:



Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment (supervisory experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Good organizational and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
Due to the rural location of the business, the applicant must have their own car to be able to travel to work or live locally
