We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our facilities team as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
As Housekeeper Supervisor, you will supervise the Housekeeping and Laundry Teams to ensure our hospice environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Supervisor include
You will supervise daily operations, implement cleaning protocols, support and motivate staff, conduct inspections, and monitor stock and equipment.
You will work closely with all departments, including the Inpatient Unit, to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and compliance with infection control and health and safety regulations.
Skills and experience required
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry services, preferably in healthcare or hospitality settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across teams, ensuring a high-quality, responsive service for patients, visitors, and staff.
Expertise in cleaning and hygiene practices, ensuring tasks are performed to the highest standard.
Strong knowledge of workplace regulations, including COSHH, Infection Control, and Health and Safety requirements.
Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience working with clinical teams to ensure patient rooms meet required standards.
Commitment to compliance with all hospice policies and statutory regulations for safe and hygienic clinical operations.
Competent in Microsoft Office packages.
