We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team to support a boutique smart hotel (self checkin). In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and communicate with the reservations team daily, ensuring that our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
Clean rooms, en suites and communal spaces.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
Train new housekeeping staff on best practices and hotel standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules to optimize efficiency.
Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
Requirements
Previous experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
