Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Housing Apprentice to join the Income team within the Housing Service. This is a great chance to gain the Housing and Property Management Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship whilst working for the Housing Income team. They provide support within housing services, income collection and arrears management and work with various teams in delivering services to Medway Council tenants and leaseholders.

As part of this role, you can expect to undertake the following tasks:

Low level garage arrears management Responding to simple queries via telephone or email Telephone answering Data inputting Scanning Filing Updating of systems Email inbox monitoring Maintenance of database

Ideally you will have good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with competent IT skills, accurate data entry along with a good attention to detail. However, we are happy to support you to reach those goals if you are highly motivated and have the desire to learn and succeed.
