Our goal is to maintain high standards of residential and estate management while providing excellent customer service to both our tenants and clients. We are now looking for a

Housing Assistant

to join our team and help us continue delivering top-quality service.

The Role:



As

Housing Assistant

, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management of our residential park. Your focus will be on lettings, property maintenance, financial administration, and ensuring the smooth operation of the estate. This is a

site-based role

, where you will report directly to our Head Office, providing an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:



Residential Bungalow Repair Programme:



Collaborate with the site maintenance team to prioritize and manage repairs. Ensure timely completion of the bungalow repair programme, maintaining high standards of quality.

Invoicing & Financial Administration:



Oversee the ordering of materials and ensure purchasing stays within budget. Analyse invoices and supplier statements, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to bungalows or caravan plots.

Residential Lettings:



Conduct interviews with potential tenants to assess their suitability. Show available bungalows, provide information, and complete all necessary referencing and checks. Draft tenancy agreements and ensure health and safety checks are completed before move-in. Register rent deposits and send out required notices and information to tenants.

Lettings Management:



Follow up on rent payments, negotiate repayment plans when necessary, and coordinate rent increases. Prepare dilapidations schedules at the end of tenancies and manage deposit deductions. Conduct periodic health & safety checks on-site.

Reporting Line:



You will report directly to the Head Office, ensuring smooth communication between on-site operations and the central team.

Location / Remote Policy:



Site-based Role:

You will work from the on-site office and be an integral part of our residential park operations.

Working Hours:



Hours:

8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 5 days a week (including Saturdays).

Additional Requirements:



A

clean driving licence

is required. Ideally, you will have prior experience in the

residential property sector

.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

to manage relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal teams.

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

to oversee multiple tasks and deadlines.

Financial management skills

to manage budgets and analyse invoices.

A knowledge of housing and tenancy laws

would be an advantage.

Desirable Skills:



Previous

property management experience

or similar roles in the residential sector.

Proficiency in property management software

. Ability to

work under pressure

and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
