Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cases related to housing disrepair claims, ensuring that clients receive the compensation they deserve for any issues affecting their living conditions. You will work closely with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate the claims process effectively.

Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate housing disrepair cases to determine eligibility for claims. Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation and evidence related to their claims. Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining the disrepair issues and the impact on clients' living conditions. Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, advocating for their best interests throughout the process. Maintain accurate records of all communications and case progress in the case management system. Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their claims and any required actions on their part.

Experience

Previous experience in handling housing disrepair claims or similar legal work is highly desirable. Strong understanding of housing law and tenant rights is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client advocacy. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in using case management software and other relevant tools is beneficial.

Pay: 22,880.00-30,000.00 per year
