We\xe2\x80\x99re delighted to be expanding our Housing officer team, introducing 2 new opportunities within this community-based team. Working 36.25hrs per week these permanent roles will see you working across a region which covers locations such as Birmingham, Coventry, Nuneaton Walsall, or Derby and Nottingham. Your work will make a direct positive impact, helping to improve community spirit, support residents within them and deliver a heartfelt service at each interaction.

The role of a Housing Officer is varied enabling you to add immense social value, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

  • Be part of a team of working collectively to deliver an effective and efficient tenancy and estate management service.
  • Support and help customers by putting them at the heart of everything you do, helping to work through anti-social behaviour concerns.
  • Have a visible presence within the community completing estate walkarounds with our partners.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure that vulnerable people are safeguarded and that our communities are safe and pleasant places that people want to live in
To be successful as a Housing Officer you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have a strong customer focus, be organised, driven and have a good working knowledge of the social housing sector. Experience of tenancy/estate management or lettings would be an advantage, you may also come from a legal background and have knowledge of applying legislation to tackle anti-social behaviour.

This role will primarily be community-based, however there will be some homeworking included to support admin duties for this role. There will also be a requirement to occasionally attend our offices for training or meeting purposes to support your colleagues or customers. Full training will be provided upon starting. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle will be essential for this role.

This role currently attracts a non-contractual car allowance according to our Driving at Work Policy. This is currently set at \xc2\xa32,500 per annum, however eligibility for the allowance and the rate of the allowance is reviewed annually and any changes will be notified to you.
