Exciting Opportunities with a New Provider in Pembrokeshire
Are you passionate about empowering people to access their community and the services available to them? We are looking for dedicated Housing Support Officers to join our growing team and help individuals across Pembrokeshire maintain their tenancies and live independently at home and within their communities.
This is an exciting time to join Service Direct Limited, a new and progressive care and support provider in Pembrokeshire. As we establish our services across the region, we are building a team of enthusiastic and compassionate professionals who are eager to make a real impact from day one.
What You'll Do:
Deliver personalised support to individuals, assisting with household tasks and daily living activities
Provide tenancy-related support and help prevent risk of homelessness
Assist with benefit claims and housing applications
Support individuals in registering with local GP surgeries
Provide support with medication management, including prompts and reminders as appropriate
Help individuals manage their finances and develop effective budgeting plans
Support with daily housing-related tasks such as cleaning, organising, and maintaining a safe home environment
Facilitate access to local services, community resources, and meaningful community participation
Link service users with relevant charities, voluntary sector organisations, and community support networks
Collaborate with families, professionals, and key organisations using a preventative, strength-based approach
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local charities, third-sector agencies, statutory and non-statutory services to offer holistic and effective support
What We're Looking For:
A person-centred approach with a genuine interest in understanding what matters most to our service users
A willingness to go the extra mile to ensure individuals can thrive both at home and within their community
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with families, colleagues, and professionals
A valid UK driving licence is essential
