Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team at Eildon. The successful candidate will provide essential assistance and person centred support to clients, supporting their well-being and indepence within their own home and community. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on others through personalised care and support plans.

Hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm

Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

As a Housing Support Worker you will provide essential care and support to people within their own homes. Duties involve supporting individuals to live as independently as possible by supporting with minimal personal care needs, mobility, medication and dietary requirements, respecting choice and dignity at all times. You will do this by assisting clients with domestic skills such as shopping, cooking, and cleaning. You will also enable them to enjoy a wide range of other activities such as visiting family and friends, assisting with shopping, social outings, walks, and much more.

Other Responsibilites include:

A willingness to become registered with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) and to keep registration up to date Undertake and attend any job-related training or review meetings as requested. Adhere to Eildon's policies and procedures. Understanding Risk Assessments in relation to your role within Eildon. Respect and adopt Eildon's Values in everything you do.

Experience

Experience is not required but preferred, however, this role does require a caring individual who is ready to make a commitment to making a difference to people's lives by delivering high-quality care and support.

A driving license is required for this position.
