About The Role

==================



We are seeking a capable and committed Housing Team Leader to join our Resident Services & Community team. This is a critical role, w you'll be responsible for leading a team of Housing Officers to deliver high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services across several local authority areas.





You'll be ensuring our estates are well looked after, our residents receive excellent service, and our performance targets are consistently met. The role involves overseeing tenancy cases, supporting legal processes, coordinating estate inspections, and working closely with both internal colleagues and external partners.





You'll also take the lead on safeguarding matters, resident engagement, and ensuring compliance with housing legislation and safety standards. It's a varied and rewarding role that offers the chance to make a real difference in our communities.

About you

=============



You will have experience managing a team and working in a front-line, customer-facing role. You'll be confident handling complex situations, comfortable making decisions, and able to support your team through challenges.





You'll have a solid understanding of housing legislation, safeguarding, and tenancy management, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. You'll be someone who can build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external agencies, and who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.





Ideally, you'll hold a housing-related qualification or management training, and have experience working within the social housing sector. Familiarity with housing management systems and current sector issues would be an advantage.





A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, and you'll need to be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the role.





The successful applicant will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered satisfactory to Housing Solutions.
