Hpb/vascular Theatre Support Worker
Job Description
The role of the Theatre Support Worker involves pro-active, collaborative working with our multidisciplinary HPB and Vascular Team. You will be expected to undertake clinical, patient facing duties across the perioperative setting. This will include assisting our surgical and anaesthetic team in theatre; setting up for operations, stocking up equipment, acting as a patient advocate and acting in the patient's best interests, maintaining legible and comprehensive documentation across all mediums (paper and electronic) and participating in clinical duties - such as manual handling and specialised skilled device training. All training will be provided by NUH.
