Specialist Security Co Ltd was established 24yrs ago. Our company remains founder owned and managed. We provide security services for the community by the community and remain a regional business, deploying high quality officers throughout the Capital Region.
Our continued growth has increased our administrative requirements, in particular HR administration. All our officers are directly employed and must be screened and vetted to BS7858 and paid 'in house'.
This new role will assist in the the end to end administration of the recruitment and on-boarding process, paying people and general personnel management.
The business benefits from being almost paperless with a variety of software applications and looking to benefit from any AI available to us. This means that the role will suit forward thinking individuals who want to suggest new ideas and test you ways of doing things.
Responsibilities
Posting Job adverts, monitoring and short listing applicants
End to end administration of the recruitment, onboarding & induction process
Screening and vetting candidates to BS7858, including the verification of identification documents and licences.
Maintaining personnel files
Assisting in inhouse payroll including queries
Assisting in administration of disciplinary processes
Becoming the company 'champion' for all HR related software applications
Assisting in the administration of training and development.
Applicants should also note that there will be scope to learn new skills and business functions. In addition there may be opportunity to extend working hours if desired and as their role develops.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.60-14.20 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
