We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven and tech-savvy

HR Admin & Systems Manager

to lead the delivery of a high-quality HR administration service and ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a key role in shaping the delivery of a high-quality, timely and professional end to end employee life-cycle service to colleagues across both North Yorkshire Police & North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.



You will be pivotal to the future of HR processes and projects ensuring we continually improve the efficiency of our service as well as supporting both police and fire with critical data and insights.



Key responsibilities:


Lead, coach and support the performance and personal development of the HR Admin & systems teams. Working collaboratively with the Recruitment & Retention Manager as well as colleagues across the wider HR teams to co-ordinate and manage multiple projects and to ensure a seamless HR service delivery. To ensure day to day implementation and development of the HR System (currently Origin & Firewatch), including service improvements and enhancements, to maintain the capacity and capability to deliver an effective HR system service. To evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and practices across the HR Admin function to identify and implement opportunities for change and innovation, greater efficiency and to enable continuous improvement. Oversee the co-ordination of workloads across the HR Admin & Systems team to ensure efficient co-ordination of activity in line with agreed SLA's and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely production of HR data for reporting and analysis highlighting trends and making recommendations in support of corporate decision making and governance arrangements and to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.




What you will bring to the role;


Significant experience in leading multi-disciplined HR teams to deliver a range of transactional services. Experience in reviewing HR processes at a senior level to drive continuous and systems improvements. High level of knowledge and understanding of HR systems, ideally with experience of implementing new and innovative software. Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to confidently and credibly challenge, negotiate and influence at a senior level Knowledge and understanding of ORIGIN and/or Firewatch would be advantageous but not essential
