We are seeking a part-time Human Resources Administrator to join our team at Ulster Carpets in Portadown. This role is vital in supporting our HR function and ensuring smooth administrative processes within the department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient HR operations and supporting the assigned HR Business Partner.
Responsibilities
Support the HRBP in the administration of the full employee lifecycle including starter / leaver paperwork and onboarding to HR systems.
Administer the recruitment process including shortlisting preparation, invite to interview, interview scheduling, coordination of interview days, interview preparation and screening tests.
Administer the selection process including the collation of interview panel scoring, offer and regret letters.
Administer the leaver processes including exit interviews and timely information to payroll and IT.
Support the Senior HR Administrator with Monitoring Officer duties
Collation of new starter / leaver information, ensuring all new employees are registered on the HR, Payroll and clocking systems
Maintain the HR Information Systems (HRIS) - Cintra and NTPro. First point of contact for Operations on T&A queries.
Support the HRBP in the administration of absence, discipline and grievance matters.
Coordination of Occupational Health Surveillance appointments.
Provide notetaking services in relevant HR meetings.
Generate relevant HR reports to inform decision making.
Support the HR Team in the roll out of new / updated policies.
Support the Executive Assistant with customer and other external visits.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within human resources.
A good standard of general education (e.g. GCSE Maths & English or equivalent).
Excellent application of Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel.
Experience producing detailed, accurate letters, contracts, or other important documentation.
Previous experience taking notes at sensitive, confidential or commercial meetings.
Previous experience maintaining online and/or hardcopy records.
Ability to undertake routine calculations.
Previous use of IT systems, preferably HR systems.
Exceptional organiser and planner.
Clear communicator. Confidentiality a non-negotiable.
