HR Administrator



Based at

Altham,

Nr Burnley.

We're on the lookout for a highly adaptable HR Administrator to be part of a supportive, solutions-focused team, where every day brings new challenges, opportunities, and chances to make an impact. You'll be the go-to support for our HR Advisors, keeping the employee lifecycle running seamlessly, championing compliance and making sure everything we do reflects best practice from start to finish.


What you'll be doing:




Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and legislation. Prepare and issue employment documentation, including contracts, letters, and policy updates. Support the effective use and maintenance of HR systems and databases. Monitor and track employee absences and return-to-work documentation. Assist with the coordination of offboarding processes. Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and accessible to employees. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and accurate information to managers and employees. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employee interactions. Support the planning and delivery of employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programmes. Help communicate HR initiatives, policy updates, and wellbeing activities in an engaging and informative manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection laws, and employment legislation. Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics as required.

About you:




Previous experience within a administrative support role. Experience working within a HR environment (Highly Advantageous). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with ability to multi-task. Strong IT skills and ability to manage data using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Positive can-do attitude with a flexible, curious approach. Strong communication skills, at all levels of the business across all sites. Meticulous attention to detail. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4 & above). CIPD Level 3. CPP - Certificate in People Practise (Desirable)


Working Hours: 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday / 8.30am-2pm Friday
