We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Human Resources Administrator Assistant

to join our HR Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative or secretarial experience who is passionate about supporting people and ensuring smooth HR operations.

About the Role:



As an HR Administrator Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Team with all aspects of the employee life cycle. From recruitment and onboarding to maintaining accurate personnel records, you will help ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR Team Managing appointments, correspondence, and documentation Preparing documents and coordinating activities related to recruitment and onboarding Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records Taking minutes and supporting meetings as required Collaborating with a wide range of colleagues across the charity, including staff and the people we support

About you:



This is a varied role that requires proactive thinking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with discretion. You'll be part of a supportive team that values your contribution and offers the chance to make a positive impact across the organisation.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:



GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) Proven experience in administrative or secretarial roles Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/IT systems Accurate and fast typing skills Experience taking minutes (or using IT/AI tools to do so) Excellent verbal and written communication Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, confident telephone manner Ability to follow instructions clearly and effectively Tact, discretion, and respect for confidentiality Team player who is reliable and honest Well-organised, able to meet deadlines, and willing to learn new skills

Desirable:



CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate (or working towards) Proofreading experience Familiarity with job advertising boards Experience using HR/Learning Management Systems (LMS) Previous experience in the charity sector
