Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join the Human Resources Division.


This new full-time role will join our friendly and supportive Divisional Administration team, which provides essential support to colleagues across the HR Division. The team's responsibilities span a range of functions including HR and Finance administration, Health and Safety, and IT support. We're looking for an organised, people-focused professional to join our team and play a key role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly.


About the role




In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, maintain accurate employee records, and support key processes such as recruitment, onboarding and compliance. You will work closely with managers and employees across the organisation, helping to create a positive and efficient employee experience.


What you will be doing:




Administering recruitment and onboarding processes General HR administration duties e.g. process leavers, contract amendments, recording sickness absence using the HR information systems Act as the first point of contact for HR related queries to the department.

We're looking for someone who has

:


A Level standard or equivalent standard/NVQ level 3 education or equivalent level of practical experience. Relevant experience in HR administration. Excellent organisational skills & ability to prioritise own workload. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with high standards of service delivery. Previous working knowledge of Cambridge University HR policy and processes and HR systems would be desirable
