The HR Administrative Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the homes and the management team, providing high-quality administrative and HR support across the organisation. The role involves assisting with planning, organising, and delivering HR and administrative processes while offering support to all departments within the office.
This position reports to the Home Managers and the Responsible Individual.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be met by

Key Responsibilities
Supporting recruitment activities, including advertising roles and coordinating appointments
Organising mandatory and specialist training days, including booking trainers, venues, and equipment
Providing administrative support to managers across the homes
Scanning, uploading, and accurately indexing HR documentation within electronic filing systems
Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters, and contract variation letters
Managing onboarding and offboarding processes, including starters, leavers, and exit documentation
Coordinating pre-employment checks, including right-to-work checks, references, and DBS / Update Service checks
Supporting payroll processes by accurately processing starters, leavers, salary changes, and absence information
Producing ad-hoc HR reports for managers and senior leadership
Ensuring employee HR files are accurate, complete, compliant, and kept up to date
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of
two years' experience
in a similar HR or administrative role (preferred)
Proficient in the
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Full driving licence
and ability to travel between sites
