We are now seeking A HR Administrator to support our Language in Action (LiA) division. This role will mainly be remote based with some on site working during the busy summer period in the heart of Kings Cross, London.

Main duties



Key Tasks



Update and monitor HR Systems.

Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, absence, and training data

Ensure effective employee relations are maintained, providing accurate and timely advice to ensure effective management of employee relations matters.

Coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, including right-to-work checks, contract preparation, DBS ID Verification checks and induction scheduling.

Support recruitment activities, such as posting job adverts, arranging interviews, and liaising with candidates.

Offering continuous support and guidance to new employees during their onboarding phase, addressing any queries or challenges they may encounter.

Ensure our record keeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements

Answering employee inquiries

Conduct pre-employment checks

Liaise with all new starters managers to ensure training schedules are in place and the relevant people are informed and have actioned what is necessary

Provide regular reports on HR matters as and when required.

Support HR projects and initiatives, including performance reviews and employee engagement activities.

Person Specification



Essential Skills & Qualifications:



CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards).

1+ years in an administrative role with a passion to develop a career in HR.

Able to establish and maintain sound working relationships with all stakeholders.

Confident, persuasive speaker with good presentation skills.

Team player with excellent active listening skills

A positive attitude to work and excellent time management skills

The ability to effectively manage your own workload and priorities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Completion oriented with attention to detail.

Communication - have proven influencing skills, interpersonal sensitivity skills and diplomacy.

Self-motivation with excellent planning and organisation skills.

Flexibility and adaptability

The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work under pressure and, when necessary, with minimal resources.
