HGV haulage specialising in the collection and disposal of waste materials from the South East of England. Employs 45 people with an annual T/O of 22.5m

Hoban Waste Management Ltd (Established 2012)

Waste Transfer Station for the recycling and recovery of waste materials. Employs 40 people with an annual T/O of 14.5m

Role

This role is to support the HR function for both Hoban Limited and Hoban Waste Management. Overseeing employee contracts, company policies, assisting with payroll and supporting health and safety

Individual

You will be capable of working under your own supervision and taking on new responsibilities with the necessary support and training. Liaison with Department Managers to support the employee / employer relationship

Responsibilities

Job Specification writing and advertising on Indeed etc.

Initial review of CV's received to prepare short list based on criteria supplied by recruiting department managers

Job Offer letters

New starter packs completed and uploaded

Licence checks

Issuing of contracts and handbooks

Employee details on to Sage payroll and Bright HR

Ensuring necessary inductions have been completed

Assisting with weekly payroll

Uploading of pension data

Holiday request management, liaison with relevant department managers to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained

Support (external contractor) on H&S matters at Milton Keynes

Ensuring training certificates are up to date and arrange refresh courses as necessary

Ensure employment contract / terms and conditions of employment are up to date and reflective of all legislative changes

Re-issue all contracts / contract amendment letters as legislation is updated

Development and completion of a Matrix to cover

o All HR requirements

o All H&S requirements

o All FORS requirements

o All CPC requirements

Identify short comings in the above Matrix of what documentation we do not have for which staff - Rectify this

Upload all documentation for each employee to Bright HR

Develop Bright HR so that new documentation can be issued electronically with an electronic signature that the employee has received and read the documentation, if not follow up as necessary

Develop documentation so that it can be electronically issued in multiple languages

Look at combining Bright HR to cover both Hoban Ltd and Hoban Waste Management

Review benefits of using Bright HR for logging of hours for all employees at Aylesbury and Warwick

Annual review and updating of all Company Policies

Requirements

IT literate (Excel / Word / Outlook)

Can do attitude with a willingness to take on other responsibilities

Flexibility in location and daily tasks

Other

Training will be provided on Bright HR

Based in Milton Keynes with requirement to work in Aylesbury

Reports to

Finance Director / Operations Mananger

Salary / Hours

Salary circa. 30,000 PA pro-rata for hours worked

There can be flexibility on days worked

Hours worked will be office based

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 18,500.00-19,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
