A fantastic opportunity to join a leading Primary Care Network in Milton Keynes, looking to welcome an HR Administrator to the People Team.

This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their HR career or looking to transfer their skills into a HR environment. With strong administration experience, excellent organisational skills, and high attention to detail, you will be handling sensitive employee information, so a professional and confidential communication style is essential.

Salary and Benefits

Shift Pattern


Conversations around flexible working and compressed hours are encouraged.

This vacancy is for 37.5 hours per week, working between 8am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Job Summary



As an HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the People Team and wider organisation through high-quality administrative support. Your responsibilities will include managing employee data, supporting recruitment and onboarding, administering appraisals and absence processes, and supporting key HR systems.

Professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with staff across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities



Appraisals administration New starter onboarding process administration Absence administration and record keeping Ownership and maintenance of the Teamnet HR system Recruitment support, including advert posting and interview coordination Mandatory training support and administration Notetaking and documentation.

Essential Skills



Ability to work at pace, to tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent service Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and continuous improvement Good written and verbal communication skills Competent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Excellent numerical accuracy and written work

About the Candidate



You will be someone who is proactive, organised, and committed to supporting high-quality staff experiences. You will be handling confidential employee information and must be able to demonstrate professionalism and discretion. Given the nature of a HR role it is important the candidate can also demonstrate resilience.

Essential Criteria



Previous administration experience (preferably in HR or another process-driven environment) Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills Strong literacy, numeracy, and computer skills GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English (or equivalent) Your own transport is essential in this role

Desirable Criteria



Experience in the public sector Experience working with a range of stakeholders Experience as a Line Manager in any environment Experience using HR systems (e.g., Teamnet or similar platforms)
