RHASS is the charity who puts on the Royal Highland Show at it's home venue the Royal Highland Centre, showcasing the very best in farming, food and rural life at Scotland's largest outdoor event.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised HR Administator to support the delivery of an efficient and professional HR service, coordinating our temporary staff recruitment processes in the lead up to the Royal Highland Show in June. This is a varied and hands-on role that involves supporting all aspects of HR administration and recruitment to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all staff and seasonal workers.
What You'll Do
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR function, providing general administrative and clerical support.
Coordinate recruitment processes, including preparing job advertisements, issuing offers and contracts, and maintaining recruitment records.
Plan and conduct HR inductions for new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both electronically and in hard copy, in accordance with data protection requirements.
Provide administrative support for payroll processing, ensuring all information is accurate and submitted on time.
Manage and update HR systems, including annual leave, absence management, learning and development, and probation tracking.
Administer and maintain the HR Drive, ensuring information is up to date and easily accessible.
Support the coordination and administration of the Performance Review system.
Manage the HR mailbox, responding to queries or escalating to the HR Advisor or HR Manager as appropriate.
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
