Job Description

Generator Power Ltd is looking for an HR Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Normanton. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting the HR function across the business.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

Support the HR Manager with day-to-day HR administration Process holiday requests and maintain sickness and absence records Maintain and update HR systems, databases, and employee records Input and manage data using Excel spreadsheets and internal systems Carry out Right to Work checks and ensure records are compliant and up to date Carry out pre-employment checks, including references Prepare, issue, and manage employment contracts, offer letters, and end-of-probation letters Produce induction packs, company booklets, and onboarding paperwork Complete quarterly driving license checks and liaise with the transport team regarding points or issues Support payroll by providing accurate employee data and liaising with the payroll team Respond to employee queries relating to HR policies, procedures, and benefits Assist with random drug and alcohol testing in line with company policy Prepare HR reports and management information when required Support exit interviews and manage offboarding documentation Carry out ad-hoc administrative duties to support HR, Payroll, and other departments
Skills & Experience

Minimum

CIPD Level 3 qualification

(or working towards) Previous experience in an HR administration or similar role Strong working knowledge of

Excel

Experience using

SharePoint

or similar document management systems Good understanding of Right to Work requirements High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
