You will be responsible for delivering a first class HR service to the Conservatoire, ensuring your work promotes excellence and best practice. You will deliver the full range of HR services working in partnership with Professional Services Teams, which includes External Relations, Finance and Estates, Information Services, Academic Administration and Support, and Human Resources.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To deliver the full range of HR services for your business teams, covering the breadth of the employee life cycle. This includes: working with the HR Business Partner (Professional Services) to ensure you meet standards and expectations; participate in continuous review systems; operate processes that are fit for purpose and remain efficient; monitoring service levels and deliver on agreed KPIs.
Be responsible for building and maintaining effective, collaborative relationships with the business teams you support, ensuring that you develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of the business teams you work with (Professional Services Teams).
Be responsible for understanding your role in implementing the various HR strategies (which include but are not limited to Recruitment and Retention, Learning and Development, Reward and Recognition) across your business teams as directed by the HR Business Partner (Professional Services).
Be responsible for ensuring you undertake the necessary actions to implement the HR Operational Plan as directed by the HR Business Partner (Professional Services).
Provide high quality, professional guidance, support and direction as appropriate to colleagues undertaking HR processes that revolve around the employee life cycle.
Be responsible for ensuring that designated policies and practices for which you are responsible are up to date, accessible and communicated to staff in a timely manner, and appropriate Equality Impact Assessments have been undertaken.
Be responsible for your development of expertise, knowledge exchange and skills, and embrace a culture of flexibility and ability to respond to change.
Undertake additional duties that support the HR function and its role within the institution, such as servicing HR committees and Forums.
