We are looking for a HR Administrator to join our central Human Resources team working predominantly within our Health in Justice Department here at PPG. You will be joining a fantastic team primarily working from home, attending the office in Theale every Thursday.

This is a rare opportunity to join our team, supporting the onboarding of healthcare staff in prisons across the country. This is an essential role - ensuring that our new starters are correctly onboarded, compliant and all pre-employment checks completed accurately.

Hours:


You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and you can start between 8:30 - 09:00, and finish between 17:00 - 17:30 - we are flexible with shift patterns.

Salary:


This is a full time position, and you'll receive an annual salary of 29,909per annum.

What you'll be doing





As our new HR Administrator, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:


Provide administrative support for the full pre-employment journey - referencing, contracts, compliance checks etc Ensure candidates are compliant with both Practice Plus Group and NHS standards and requirements Maintain team spreadsheets and trackers, and ensure that the HR systems are up to date Work with other areas of the team (such as recruitment) to process new starters Keep recruitment, hiring managers, and other stakeholders up to date with new starters, escalating issues where necessary

Have previous experience within an admin role, ideally with involvement in onboarding and compliance Be process driven - this role involves following set guidelines and processes Be able to work effectively as part of a team Have experience of working to short term deadlines * Have strong IT skills - Excel, Word, Outlook
