The People Team Administrator supports the People department by managing employee data, assisting with the payroll process, and coordinating recruitment activities. This role ensures the accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance of People operations while providing high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll & HR Data Management
Maintain and update employee records across HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
Assist in preparing monthly payroll by collating timesheets, absence reports, overtime records, and variable pay information.
Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure integrity, consistency, and compliance with internal policies.
Support the production of HR reports and dashboards for leadership, including headcount, turnover, absence, and payroll metrics.
Recruitment Support
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Maintain recruitment trackers and assist with applicant screening and initial shortlisting.
Liaise with hiring managers to ensure smooth recruitment workflows.
Support onboarding processes, including preparing offer letters, contracts, and new starter documentation.
General HR Administration
Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, directing employees to policies or escalating issues as appropriate.
Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, amendments, and reference letters.
Assist with induction, training coordination, and employee lifecycle administration (new starters, leavers, and changes).
Support compliance and employee records management, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR alignment.
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data handling.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Proficient with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables desirable).
Strong communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels.
Discreet, professional, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in an HR administrative or similar support role.
Familiarity with payroll processes and HR systems preferred.
Understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) beneficial but not required.
