HR Administrator

JOB PURPOSE
In this role you will be assisting the HR team and acting as a first point of contact for all customers to the Human Resources team. You will be the primary contact and systems administrator for queries, to ensure accurate HR records on all employees, and to provide HR reports as required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Organising and maintaining personnel records
Maintaining internal databases (e.g. absence records)
Preparing HR documents, e.g.? employment contracts, offer letters
Preparing all other changes or amendments to T&C's
Processing new starters:
Collecting right-to-work documents
Drafting, emailing and posting starter packs and documents
Setting up on systems (Act In Time and People HR)
Updating spreadsheets and databases
Requesting and providing references
Processing leavers: completing leaver forms, drafting resignation acknowledgements, collecting exit questionnaires
Printing, scanning and filing personnel documents
Tracking probation periods and drafting relevant documentation
Running daily and weekly absence reports
Stock queries (Colne and Newcastle)
Supporting HR Advisor with ER activity if required (ie: note taking at hearings & other process)
Supporting with other ad-hoc projects / meetings / initiatives as required
REQUIREMENTS
Previous HR administrative experience desirable but not essential
Studying or thinking about studying towards CIPD Level 3/5
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to 30,000.00 per year
