An exciting opportunity has arisen for two part-time HR Administrators in our Wells office. The roles cover two different working patterns as follows:
Role 1: 08.30 - 14.00, Monday to Friday, a 5-hour day excluding an unpaid 30 minute break (25 hours per week)
Role 2: 13.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday, a 4-hour day (20 hours per week)

Key Duties of the Role:
Overseeing the company's recruitment function and making efforts to continuously improve it, including but not limited to:
- Designing and maintaining effective vacancy adverts.
- Source, sift and select suitable candidate applications.
- Assisting with recruitment related administration.
- Working closely with recruiting managers to develop effective relationships.
- Arranging interviews.
- Carrying out ID checks and verifying the right to work.
- Monitoring background check progress and actioning any discrepancies.
- Processing formal employment documentation and offers.
- Arranging and conducting HR inductions.
- Organising and overseeing new starter onboarding.
- Being a first point of contact for recruitment/new starter related queries face to face or via telephone/email.
To support with general HR administration, including but not limited to:
- Data preparation for the monthly payroll.
- Acting as a first point of contact for general staff queries via telephone or email, including taking calls regarding and recording incidences of sickness absence
- Attending meetings as note taker when required
- Maintaining and updating the HR system
- Monitoring of holidays and / or sickness days
- Supporting family related leave
- Administration of training and development
Other reasonable duties as required from time to time
Ensuring Firm policy and procedure is adhered to.
Participate in all training programmes initiated by the Line Managers.
Report all issues of concern to the Head of Department or as they may direct.
To administer daily work within the restrictions of GDPR, Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme and Solicitors Regulation Authority.
