We are a well established, client focussed organisation working within the financial sector, providing services to local authorities and councils. As a growing business we are looking to add a HR Administrator/Advisor to support the HR Manager.
We are seeking an individual that is looking to develop their HR career, having previous experience in an administration or HR related role. As a generalist function, this role will incorporate all aspects of HR administration activity across the entire employee lifecycle.
Key Activities:
Ensure all employee documentation is accurately filed, acknowledged and processed in accordance with statutory legislation and company procedures
Provide accurate and professional responses to employee communications, contract changes or process outcome
Support with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, ensuring all right to work checks, new starter documentation and payroll forms are accurately and consistently collated and filed
Maintain personal calendar of activities and follow up actions to ensure full compliance of company procedures, including probationary process, absence recording, maternity leave, etc
Provide timely and accurate advice to people leaders, giving suitable and appropriate guidance on people related issues
Support the company Wellbeing initiatives, creating innovative ideas and marketing materials to drive employee engagement in activities
Take a proactive approach in the development of technology and the company intranet to drive efficiency in the HR function
About You:
Previous experience in a demanding and varied administration role, used to working with tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy
Self motivated and highly organised, able to prioritise own work and work without supervision
Confident and personable with excellent communication skills with employees at all levels
Good standard of general education with excellent written and verbal skills
IT literate with high levels of competence in Microsoft programmes, experience in Click up or other project management resources an advantage. Has an interest in IT and technology
Willing to undertake studies and continuous learning to develop knowledge and skills
