HR Assistant/Apprentice role




We are looking for a new team member of the HR team to assist with the day-to-day administration across the business. The individual can be recently qualified or willing to undertake a CIPD recognised apprenticeship. Equally candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate that they have an interest in Human Resources with some experience in HR/administration.


This role has a wide remit which includes input to all HR administration and is important to the smooth running of the department with an equally important support role to the business.


Duties of the HR Administrator/Apprentice will include although not be confined to:




Administration: electronic system organisation and filing

Recruitment: placing advertisements, receiving applications, liaising with agents, shortlisting, organising and candidate liaison

Employment: offer letters, references, contracts, checking qualifications and gathering paperwork

Project work: supporting the HR lead with business-wide initiatives and compliance

HR Administrator/Apprentice Person Specification




We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, dynamic and motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude, who has:


A keen interest in learning the processes within HR (or previous experience in an HR role)

Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

The ability to work unsupervised and be able to demonstrate initiative

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with employees at all levels in a professional manner both verbally and in writing

A professional and friendly manner and understanding the need to maintain confidentiality at all times

Experience in using the Microsoft office suite, but in particular Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams. Training will be given on the HR System

Minimum of 3 A Levels: A - C or equivalent

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly Monday-Friday.
