The HR Advisor plays a key role in delivering proactive, professional HR support to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with organisational policies, procedures, and employment legislation.


This position supports a wide range of people-related matters, including absence and performance management, employee relations casework, and general HR queries.





Acting as the first point of contact for low-risk people issues on site, the HR Advisor works collaboratively with operational managers to promote consistent and effective people practices that contribute to a positive and inclusive working environment.
The role also involves supporting the implementation of People & Culture strategies, contributing to employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with both company and client policies where applicable.


The HR Advisor will maintain strong communication with the People & Culture team, escalating more complex matters where appropriate, and will contribute to the continuous improvement of people processes across the business.


Key Responsibilities




Act as the on-site lead for all HR activities, ensuring alignment with company and client policies, procedures, and objectives. Provide advice and support to managers on low-risk casework, including sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters, and early-stage performance management. Support the implementation and monitoring of People & Culture strategies to help achieve business goals. Lead and contribute to employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Maintain clear and effective communication with operational managers and the People & Culture team, escalating complex issues when necessary. Promote best people management practices, with a strong focus on equality, diversity, and non-discrimination.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications




Experience in HR, ideally with exposure to generalist responsibilities. Strong team player with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset. Comfortable with change, resilient, and proactive in problem-solving. Able to manage high workloads and complex cases, meeting deadlines under pressure. Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve business outcomes. Excellent communication skills with empathy and emotional intelligence. Committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
