We're now looking for an experienced
HR Consultant
to join our team on a
part-time basis
. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, values variety, and is passionate about helping local businesses get the best out of their people.
About the Role
As an HR Consultant, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients and provide day-to-day HR advice across a variety of issues. You'll also play a key role in designing and delivering training sessions on key HR topics, supporting clients to build strong people practices.
This is a
hybrid role
, with a mix of remote working and occasional in-person meetings across Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities
Provide practical HR advice and guidance to SME clients
Manage employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance
Support with projects including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE transfers
Develop and deliver training sessions on core HR and people management topics
Draft and review HR policies, contracts, and documentation
Build strong relationships and act as a trusted HR advisor
Maintain client records and respond to queries in a timely, professional manner
What We're Looking For
Essential:
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above)
Strong HR generalist experience
Experience supporting multiple clients or business units
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
Experience designing and delivering HR-related training
Solid knowledge of UK employment law
Based within commuting distance of Leicestershire
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, HR software/CRM systems)
Desirable:
Previous experience in an HR consultancy or outsourced environment
