HR Advisor required to join our Team at Encompass Care



We are looking for a dedicated and organised HR Advisor to support our People & Culture Operations Manager with a range of day-to-day support in the HR department within a social care environment. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with other departments and ensuring all communications are compliant with GDPR and reflect a positive an inclusive culture

Location: Head Office/Hybrid

Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week

Pay: 28,000 to 30,000 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:



Employee Relations: Address employee relations matters, including absence management, performance issues, disciplinary and grievance matters, and escalate complex cases to the People & Culture Operations Manager. Documentation: Prepare ER meeting paperwork and packs and ensure secure postal or email delivery. Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, providing guidance and assistance. Policy Implementation: Help implement and enforce HR policies and procedures throughout the organisation. Benefits Assistance: Assist employees with benefits-related questions, changes, and enrolment processes. Conflict Resolution: Address employee conflicts and issues, offering initial support to resolve disputes. Email Management: Manage the HR inbox, delegate emails to the appropriate person, and respond as needed. Employee Letters: Prepare HR-related correspondence. HR Projects: Provide support on various HR projects, audits, compliance, and HR function improvements. Staff Surveys: Support the setup of staff surveys via platforms like Survey Monkey and compile staff responses. Data Gathering: Collect data for reports and KPIs, monitor staff benefits uptake, and provide monthly reports for leavers.

About You:



HR Advisory / Employee relations experience A strong team player with good communication skills. Flexible approach to a range of HR duties. Confident using Microsoft and other IT systems Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, along with a good understanding of UK employment laws and regulations
