HR Advisor (Operations and Systems)

This role presents a unique opportunity to blend your HR acumen and your passion for healthcare. Your primary mission will be to streamline processes and reinforce operational efficiency through the full utilization of our HR Information System (SuccessFactors). As a crucial liaison between our HR systems and our dedicated healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in elevating the patient care experience in our extensive network of renal care centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Systems Oversight: Drive the full implementation and ongoing maintenance of our HRIS (SuccessFactors) while addressing related queries.
  • Business Support: Offer proactive guidance on HR process and procedure, ensure policy compliance, and oversee the HR admin inbox.
  • HR Programmes: Administer HR programmes such as onboarding, induction, employment checks, and probation action oversight.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate in-house training and support annual appraisals, advising managers on employee development opportunities.
  • Employee Exit Process: Conduct exit interviews and compile leaver reports, ensuring smooth transition processes.
  • Employee Communication: Oversee various HR correspondences, from new starter information to contract change advisories.
  • Payroll Interface: Maintain the absence tracker and collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate data provision.
Preferred Candidates Will Demonstrate:
  • Proven expertise in HRIS, particularly SuccessFactors, with strong IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, backed by effective time management skills.
  • Professional and confident demeanour, with a knack for building rapport.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • The ability to work independently, while recognising issues early on and acting quickly to resolve them.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • HR Diploma to level 5.
  • Prior experience within a busy HR environment, specifically in an advisory role focused on operations and systems.

Location: The role is based at the Head Office in St Albans, located in the City Centre a short walk from the mainline train station. Parking is available on site.

Please note that whilst the role is based in St Albans, attendance in the office is 2 days per week and 3 days at home. Please note that initial training may require a higher ratio of days in the office.

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, 12 months

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hrs p/w Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30

Salary: \xc2\xa336,000 per annum plus 15% potential bonus

Benefits: 27 days holiday increasing to 30 with service, Peppy, We Care, pension and life cover.
