Job Description


The HR Advisor will join the business on a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide support on a busy ER caseload, as well as advising on HR-related policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Manager and HR Coordinator with all day-to-day operational and transactional HR activities
  • Provide support and coaching to line managers on all ER issues (disciplinaries, sickness/ absence management, performance, grievance)
  • Provide general HR advisory support to the wider business
  • Support on any complex HR and ER processes and queries
  • Deal with a range of general HR queries, ensuring that processes are consistent processes
  • Manage HR processes including onboarding, recruitment, induction and compliance
  • Maintain accurate internal records to ensure compliance with GDPR
  • Maintain knowledge of changes in employment law and best practice

  • Previous experience in a hands-on HR generalist or advisory role
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent ER experience
  • Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • CIPD qualification, or equivalent level of experience

  • Salary up to \xc2\xa335,000 per annum / \xc2\xa316.80 per hour
  • 6 month fixed-term contract
  • This is a fully site-based role
