Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for an exciting fast-paced role?

We are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor for an exciting growing business located in Hemel Hempstead. This is a generalist opportunity where you will act as first point of contact for all operational HR queries. You will support the initiatives of the HR function with responsibility for supporting the delivery of the day-to-day HR operations involving employee engagement, recruitment, payroll, ER, reporting and HR Administration.

The ideal candidate will hold 3-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working within a HR function and feel comfortable carrying out preparation of payroll.

Salary negotiable

Please note, this is predominantly an office-based role with the scope to work from home once a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the full employee onboarding and offboarding experiences for new joiners and leavers.
  • To assist with developing online onboarding processes.
  • To be involved in our Employee Engagement Initiatives, Culture building and staff surveys
  • Work in partnership with the Managers on Probations and Mid and Annual reviews
  • Assist the HR team on administration tasks \xe2\x80\x93 creating contracts, letters, filing, administration of employee data changes, ensuring that the HR system and HR files are up to date, accurate and complying with legislation.
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll, employee relations matters, and any day-to-day administrative support as and when required.
  • Coordinating recruitment activities such as publishing internal/ external job advertisements, screening candidates, participating in interviews where required
  • Develop and work with the team on HR metrics and monthly dashboard
  • Provide HR Guidance and support to the Line Managers
  • To assist with issuing and circulating Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • To monitor benefit entitlements and circulate information as required.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience working at a HR Advisor level
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills
  • Experience with HR systems
  • Proactive/Can do attitude
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment law
  • Payroll preparation experience
  • IT proficiency \xe2\x80\x93 Excellent experience in working with MS Office Applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
