This 12-month HR Advisor position offers a dynamic opportunity within the Human Resources Team, supporting operations in London, Manchester, Leeds, and Edinburgh. The role focuses on HR Business Partnering, contributing to diverse projects and initiatives, with a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities

As a HR Advisor in this 12-month role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the HR Business Partnering team, fostering strong relationships and providing day-to-day guidance, support, and coaching to various business units.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving forward fresh initiatives, overseeing annual processes, and managing diverse projects, ensuring effective execution and timely delivery.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing disciplinary or grievance issues, absences, and benefits-related inquiries, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside the Resourcing team to support HR Managers in efficient resource management, from vacancy authorization to sourcing and selection processes.
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of Apprentices, manage new joiners\' onboarding processes, and oversee the exit process, conducting exit interviews as needed.
  • Contribute to performance management, ensuring performance reviews are conducted, documented, and development needs are addressed promptly.
  • Manage ad hoc projects within client groups, producing meaningful MI reports to identify trends, and supporting the delivery of the firm-wide engagement survey.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A graduate degree and ideally partial or full CIPD qualification.
  • Previous generalist HR experience, preferably within a professional services or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing a complex workload with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.
  • A strong team orientation and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
