We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident HR professional with strong employee relations expertise who can provide high-quality guidance whilst ensuring compliance with internal policies and UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor for employee queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Lead and support casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management, ensuring compliance with employment law and Company policies.
Provide coaching, guidance and training to managers on handling people issues and improving team dynamics.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and proactively advise on changes impacting the business.
Support with creation of HR reports, looking for trends and proactive opportunities to support the business in people matters.
Support the ongoing performance management process of all employees, including routine appraisals and performance concerns.
Support HR projects, contributing to and embedding improvements to policies, processes and new initiatives.
Support the HR Administrator to maintain accurate records in line with GDPR standards.
Champion inclusion in all HR processes and initiatives.
Provide support to the recruitment, learning and development and payroll teams as required by the business.
Adhere to safeguarding responsibilities in line with company policy.
Undertake any other duties or responsibilities reasonably required to support the HR function and business objectives.
About you
Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with strong employee relations expertise.
In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Ability to coach and influence managers effectively.
CIPD Level 5 or working towards qualification.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
