Regional HR Advisor (London)

Field based / hybrid working pattern

Up to \xc2\xa355,000 plus \xc2\xa35k car allowance

Overview

An exciting opportunity for you to join a friendly, fun HR team within a major retail brand has arisen to support the South London region. You\xe2\x80\x99ll operate as the go to for all HR enquiries, including ER case mamangement support.

Role and Responsibility

• Take part in activities relating to the Employee Forum, supporting meetings and coordinating follow up activity. Work with and support line managers to deliver business engagement initiatives and play a key role in communications activity across the business.
• Coordinate recruitment activity & onboarding, managing the relevant systems and processes to support and coach line managers to be competent in carrying out recruitment & induction activity for their teams.
• Advise and support line managers on all employee relations issues, including performance management, sickness & absence, and disciplinary & grievance procedures across different stores in London
• Coach and direct line managers to ensure pro-active management of attendance is in place, supporting both the business and colleagues to minimise sickness absence and promote wellbeing, as well as ensuring managers have the appropriate skills to manage this process.
• Report on people KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, providing insights to the business and agreeing actions to drive improvements in results with line managers.
• Manage the HR elements of Time & Attendance, providing timely information to the Finance team to ensure payroll is processed accurately and liaising with external service providers. Coach and train line mangers to ensure they are adhering to responsibilities for manging their teams working time and pay.
• Support the culture of continuous improvement across the HR function and lead actions in relation to people policy & processes.
