HR and Compliance specialist will be responsible for a variety of functions at SJM including recruitment and hiring, working with Avensure to make sure all our policies and procedures are followed and updated. We have a several compliance certifications that we are required to comply with you will be responsible for ensuring this are complied with and updated.
Duties
Recruitment and Hiring - Manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening applications, conducting interviews and making hiring decision.
Working with Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Employee Relations - ensure that employees are aware of the HR Policies and procedures and address employee concerns.
Training and Development - Work with management team to ensure that all employees have got the training that is required. Audit and ensure no training expires.
Compliance Certification - work with key personnel within the organisation to ensure that we have got SMAS and other relevant certification in place.
Vehicle and Assets Management - Manage the vehicle and assets management to ensure that we are compliant.
Skills
Professional HR certification
Previous experience in HR or related field
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
