This varied role will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a full range of HR generalist and recruitment activities. You will be the first point of contact for our HR Operations teams within the Taiko factory. Working in collaboration with the People team, you manage a range of employee related matters, with an emphasis on absence and performance management. A highly credible People Assistant, you provide clear and concise advice to our teams, embracing our values in everything you do. You are not afraid to challenging the 'norm' and always look for innovative ways to improve the way we do things here, at Taiko.

Key Accountabilities:

General HR Administration



Handle queries from staff regarding policies and procedures. Support HR projects such as training, wellbeing initiatives, and employee engagement. Organise HR team meetings, take minutes, and prepare reports. Manage Employee of the month process & value award Manage regular right to work checks. Generate KPIS, update board and stakeholders Manage HR Inbox Manage on-boarding and off -boarding employees. Manage all ER cases related AWOLs & Support in note taking where appropriate Admin support for benefits. Locker & pocket search Manage Walk-ins

Recruitment Support



Post job adverts and manage applications. Arrange interviews and recruitment events. Conduct pre-employment checks (e.g., right-to-work, references). Prepare offer letters and contracts.

Onboarding & Employee Records



Ensure new starter documents are completed, filed, and uploaded to HR systems. Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases. Support induction processes.

Payroll Administration



Collate and input payroll data. Liaise with payroll providers where necessary Managing payroll calculation and submitting weekly payroll Manage WFM reporting module in element suite. Support all Taiko Managers with WFM queries and issues. Prepare stats for senior managers and finance team. Prepare excessive hours report and share with all stakeholders. Absence/ Holiday cover for Payroll & recruitment officer
