HR and Payroll Generalist We are delighted to announce an opportunity for a full time HR and Payroll Generalist based at our UK Head Office in Newtown, Powys. Reporting to the HR Manager UK and Europe, this position will take ownership of the Payroll function and HR generalist tasks, which will include end to end payroll processing for monthly paid employees (hourly and salaried) over two locations, pension administration and all HR lifecycle activities including the production of contracts of employment and recruitment campaigns. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Professionally manage HR and Payroll responsibilities and activities assigned to the UK business.
  • Provide HR and Payroll advice and guidance to team members and leadership.
  • Ensures HR and Payroll policies and procedures are consistently applied for all team members across all areas of the business.
  • Responsible for the administration of employee lifecycle processes from recruitment approval to termination.
  • Responsible for the production of UK HR/Payroll reports.
  • Responsible for the processing of two monthly payrolls for 150 employees via Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Support the implementation of HR Projects within the UK business framework.

You will receive appropriate training and play a key role in within the business. This is an exciting time of organisational growth with the implementation of various HR projects and allows for autonomous working. Knowledge and Experience:
  • CiPD/CiPP qualification and membership at Associate Level or equivalent combined experience
  • Minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 HR and 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 Payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, UK legislation and codes of practice.
  • Able to understand, interpret, and produce contracts of employment.
  • This position requires a good communicator with above average troubleshooting skills and diplomacy.
  • Expert in HMRC requirements.
  • Able to manage HR/Payroll caseload.
  • Proficient in data entry and accurate record keeping including auditing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Uphold polite, patient and professional code of conduct.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Suites and Sage 50 Payroll desirable
  • A positive \xe2\x80\x98can do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude.
