Indaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe, with facilities and operations in Belgium, Germany, Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands and France. Indaver is now constructing a 595,000 tonne energy-from-waste plant as part of an Integrated Waste Management facility in Essex. Over a year\xe2\x80\x99s worth of groundworks have already been carried out and construction work has now commenced with piling activities on site. This will be one of the largest energy-from-waste plants in the UK and you will be working with an experienced international team of engineers and commercial professionals to take the project from groundworks to commissioning (3.5years) and beyond to full operations. The HR & Payroll Officer will be responsible for the payroll activities as well as benefit management in order to ensure that employees are paid and informed regarding any compensation and benefit matters in a timely and accurate manner. Provide information and advice to all stakeholders within the legal and company framework and guidelines. Provide HR administration support to HR manager, HRBPs, line managers and employees. Payroll/HR overview: Currently circa 300 employees (monthly and weekly); multiple industries, labour laws, employee types and sites. Qualifications & Experience required

  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field
  • CIPD associate membership
  • 3 - 5 years in a similar position
  • Strong numerical comprehension
  • Strong verbal and written skills (English language)
  • Payroll procedures and systems knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrate concern for people, safety and environment
  • Build relationships resulting in mutual trust
  • Ensuring transparency in communications and actions
